Laura, a Telecommunications Engineering graduate from Ramon Llull University and qualified sound engineer through Microfusa, had been working as a sound engineer (with both music and voices, live and in-studio) for 10 years when she founded Sounds & Words.
At S&W, she takes care of managing recording projects and training and supervising our engineers. She also teaches future sound engineers at the Microfusa school.

Verònica has a PhD in Translation Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and worked as an audiovisual translator and translation project manager, both in-house and freelance, for 15 years before founding Sounds & Words.
At S&W, she manages translation projects and deals with linguistic quality assurance. Alongside this work, she teaches on the Translation and Applied Languages undergraduate courses at Pompeu Fabra University and on the Translation and Interpretation master’s course at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
